PEC Museums events this weekend share tales from shipwrecks to royal scandal

The Museums of Prince Edward County are unique museums, located throughout the municipality. In scenic surroundings, they interpret the community’s dynamic heritage with settlement dating from the late 18th Century.

Saturday, Sept. 22 – County Shipwreck Tales

Mariner’s Museum
Enjoy the dramatic stories of Great Lakes shipwrecks tinged with murder, mystery, deception and more than the usual amount of mayhem, plus intense historical research and exceptional underwater photography.
9:30 am – coffee
10 am – presentation of shipwrecks tales in the area
Noon – BBQ
1 pm – The Story of the George A Marsh Wreck

Sunday, Sept. 23 – Royal Scandal & Romance

Macaulay House
1 p.m. – Come and enjoy homemade scones with jam & cream, fine brewed tea while you delight in the tales of royalty past! Custom-made “fascinators” will also be available for guests. Guest Speaker: Anne Unyi
