Monday, April 23, 2012

– Baseball meeting today at lunch. Pitchers and catchers practice tonight.

– Penny Drive starts today. All proceeds to Relay for Life.

– E-Waste Collected over $400 worth of donations.

– Panthers had a great trip to Fleming college. Well done PECI.

– The library will be hosting a used book sale, May 7 – 11th. Paperbacks for .25; hardcover for .50. All proceeds will go to Relay for Life.

Thursday, April 19, 2012

– The Paper Bag princess starts at 12 pm sharp. Students with tickets should go directly to Books and Co. after lunch.

– Loyalist college open house Saturday from 10-2pm.

– Tennis practice Thursday after school.

– Relay for Life is June 8th. Get a team of 10 or more and sign up outside Ms. McFaul’s room.

– Prom Project is Friday period 5 and after school.

Tuesday, April 10, 2012

– Egg Olympics Thursday at Lunch in the Jr. Cafe. $2 to enter.

– Girls’ soccer practice tonight at 2:45 pm in Gym C

– Attn Graduates. Please pay for your gown asap.

– Sr. Badminton practice today and tomorrow after school in gym A.

– Sr. Boy’s Soccer practice on Thursday. Parent meeting tonight at 6:30 pm.

– Track and Field practice Tuesday, Wed and Thurs. You must attend two practices per week.

– On April 11th we will be hosting our annual author’s festival called PECI Reads! We are pleased that 7 Canadian authors will be visiting our school to share their writing experiences with our students.

– Congratulations to Josh Nieman who won the Ontario High School Squash championship.

– Tickets go on sale for Paper Bag Princess Tues and Thurs this week. All performances are at Books and Co.

– Yearbook Sales start today. $45 outside the cafeteria.

– Band rehearsal tonight in the music room.

– Peer tutors will meet Wed. April 4.

– Interested in a career in heavy equipment, drilling or fisheries. See Ms. Lockyer about a free field trip.

– Congratulations to PECI’s computer programming team who placed third overall at the HPEDSB competition on Fri! Good luck at Queens’!

– @PECIVimy2012 has left for Europe. Follow to keep up with trip details.

– Sr. Boys’ Soccer practice Tuesday and Thursday next week.

– Cake Boss Challenge April 5th. Funds raised will go to Relay for Life.

– Summer Job workshop April 5th at lunch.
