PECI welcomes Grade 9s – fun style!

The sun was out, the music was playing and all participants in PECI’s Grade 9 Day this year were having a good time getting to know their peers.
“It’s a good idea to get comfortable with each other,” PECI Co-President Cassidy Allison told the crowd. “You’ll be together for the next four years.”
Her words couldn’t be more true.
As I was running events, I could see many established relationships, and in games that called for a partner, it was obvious new friendships were being created.
I should highlight that this year marked the first year of the successful circle sit down, thanks to much effort by Mr. Garden and the co presidents!
All-in-all a most productive and fun day at PECI, obviously showcasing what our school will be capable of this year.
Congratulations and thanks to all involved in making a superb turn out for this year’s Grade 9 day. The amount of effort put into this event was obvious through how seamlessly the day’s events proceeded.
Till next time,
Sydnee Gael Mulridge
