PEPtBO fall fundraiser on the big, and little screen – Sept. 22

The Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory is taking its fall fundraiser to the big screen and the little screen this year in a double feature.

Supporters are invited to ‘Fly’ with PEPtBO to Churchill and Kazakhstan with uber birder Bruce Di Labio and The Mustang Drive Inn on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Di Labio will present ‘Churchill – Point Pelee of the North’, followed by the award-winning documentary ‘The Eagle Huntress’ (trailer below).

Attendance is welcome at the drive in, rain or shine, or in an online webinar streaming format. Tickets are $50 for the two people attending the presentations at the Mustang ($25 for additional people in the car). The online webinar is $40. Tax receipts will be issued for the registrations.

Gates open at The Mustang at 7 p.m. with the double feature beginning at 7:15 p.m. The simultaneous online webinar will offer the speaker’s presentation and other interviews.

PEPtBO is mandated to monitor and report on bird migration along the South Shore of Prince Edward County and to act as official caretaker of its designated Important Bird Area.
