There is no shortage of family fun and adventures to be had in nature.
The Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory’s ‘Get Out! Kid’s Club’ will help your children discover all kinds of ways to explore and appreciate the natural world around them.
PEPtBO offers a growing library of activities and projects to encourage a connection with nature – on the new PEPtBO website, and on Facebook.
Membership is free of charge and is also open to teachers and home school educators.
January activities include snow and ice art, discovering animal tracks in the snow, winter sketching and scavenger hunt, story reading and the Sunday morning online Birding Breakfast Club where participants will learn to cook and watch birds.
