Person found in water at Sandbanks pronounced dead

Prince Edward County OPP are investigating a sudden death at Sandbanks Provincial Park Saturday, July 6.
Police report that at approximately 4:45 p.m., emergency medical services responded to a report of an unresponsive person located in the water at Outlet Beach.
A 66-year-old woman was transported to hospital and pronounced deceased.
The investigation is continuing, and a postmortem has been scheduled to determine a cause of death.
