“Where were you in 1962?” could easily be the question if you’re on Picton Main Street on any Thursday evening in the months of May through September.

Local automotive enthusiasts gather every Thursday for Picton Cruize Night car show from 5p.m. till dusk at the Crystal Palace, Picton Fairgrounds.

Any make, model, and year of vehicle is welcome. There is no admission fee charged for specators or participants.

Picton Cruize Night is a non-judge event, there are no trophies or prizes awarded for individual vehicles. There are door prizes for entrants as well as a weekly 50/50 draw open to anybody (you must be present to win).

Expect a great variety of classic vehicles to look at and owners are happy to talk about their pride and joy. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Debbie and Brian Lindensmith are the hosts for the weekly cruise nights, featuring several special events throughout the season including local radio personality Freddy Vette from 800 CJBQ bringing his Rockin’ Roadshow for a live broadcast, an annual barbecue, and the always popular end of season Trick or Treat Halloween Cruise.
