Picton United appreciates Hospice PE

Phyllis Mabee, Chairperson of the Mission & Stewardship Committee of Picton United Church presents $300 to Nancy Parks, Executive Director and Mark Larratt-Smith, Chairman of the Board of Hospice Prince Edward, at the appreciation dinner for Hospice volunteers that was held at the Picton Golf and Country Club. Earlier in the day volunteers of Hospice Prince Edward participated in a strategic planning session. “Our dedicated volunteers are crucial to our service in the community and we have the most amazing volunteers,” Nancy said. “Their input into this planning process is very important. H.P.E. would also like to recognize and thank the Picton Golf and Country Club for the use of the lounge for our meeting and Christian and staff for the delicious dinner.” Hospice Prince Edward is a non-profit charitable organization which provides palliative and bereavement support free of charge to our family, friends and neighbours of Prince Edward County.
