Police seek public assistance with three County business break-ins

Prince Edward OPP are seeking people with information or video footage of areas around three businesses that reported break-ins overnight Friday.

On Aug. 15  three businesses, including County Traders  and Brocante in Bloomfield, and Angry Bird’s restaurant in Picton, reported break-ins between 2-4 a.m.

In Bloomfield, a variety of unique watches, rings and necklaces were stolen as well as an undisclosed amount of cash. In Picton, an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.

Video footage from inside the restaurant was obtained by police and the person of interest is described as being 6’2″ to 6’4″ tall, with a slim build and wearing black clothes.

Anyone with information or video footage of the areas around the businesses that would be of assistance is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
