‘Progress Pride’ crosswalk painting on Picton Main
Administrator | May 27, 2026 | Comments 0
Existing ‘Pride” crosswalks in front of Metro (73 Picton Main) and the Picton Fairgrounds (375 Picton Main) will be repainted this week with the updated and inclusive Progress Pride flag crosswalk design.
The progress pride flag is an inclusive variant of the LGBTQ rainbow flag that includes additional colored stripes representing transgender and people of color, inspired by the Philadelphia pride flag.
The painting of the crosswalks will take place Thursday, May 28 to Saturday, May 30.
Work will take place during the night to minimize traffic disruptions.
