Renaissance Troubadours to perform at Glenwood Chapel Dec 8

The Renaissance Troubadours are making their debut at Glenwood Cemetery Chapel, 47 Ferguson St., Picton on Sun. Dec. 8th at 2 pm performing “A Christmas Renaissance Concert”.

The group comprises Ernie Neufeld violin, Jane McGall  recorder, Janine Dudding, harp, Josie Farrar, bass viol,  and Michael Goodwin, percussion. They will be performing traditional Christmas music from the Renaissance period in full costume from the era.

The Troubadours are a merry band of misplaced renaissance musicians and singers who will delight you with drinking songs, and medieval and renaissance carols and songs in Latin, English and French. Bring your snoods.

The chapel will be decorated for Christmas, we will have Christmas treats and Honey Pie Herbals will be serving their Mead.

In the spirit of the season, this is a free will offering with all monies collected going towards chapel restoration.
