UPDATE FEB 16: The Water and Wastewater Department plans to repair a water main leak on County Road 28 in Rossmore.

Repairs are to begin Friday, Feb. 17 at 8 a.m. with an expected completion time of 6 p.m. the same day.

County Road 28 between the two entrances to Fenwood Gardens on Fenwood Crescent will be reduced to one lane of traffic.

These repairs are not expected to impact water quality; however, residents on County Road 28 between Fenwood Crescent may experience an interruption to service, intermittent pressure fluctuations and coloured water while construction is taking place.
If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once work is complete.

FEB. 15: The County continues conducting leak detection work in the Rossmore/Fenwood Gardens drinking water system overnight Wednesday, Feb. 15 into the early morning of Feb. 16.

Operators in vehicles marked with the County’s logo are stationed throughout the Rossmore and Fenwood Gardens distribution system to conduct leak detection activities.

Operators are conducting valve turning and monitoring activities in the distribution system and on isolated service connections to help identify the underground leaks.

This work is not expected to impact water quality; however, residents in the affected areas may experience brief interruption to service, intermittent pressure fluctuations and coloured water while construction is taking place.
If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once work is complete.
