Shoppers supporting Hospice Prince Edward

Hospice Prince Edward has teamed up with Picton Sobeys to reach out to friends.
From now through Oct. 10, shoppers are invited to contribute a $2 donation that will help expand services that Hospice provides. Last year Hospice volunteers provided 3,819 volunteer hours in Prince Edward County.

Occasionally during the event, HPE volunteers will be on hand with Community Resource pamphlets and will answer questions about the services Hospice provides free of charge.

“On behalf of Hospice Prince Edward, we sincerely thank Sobeys for hosting our friends-raising and public education campaign,” says Nancy Parks, HPE executive director. “Thank you to Portabella Restaurant and Miss Lilly’s café for incentive gifts.  Our clients are our number one priority, and because of the kindnesses of local businesses and the generosity of the public we are able to provide them the best of end-of-life and grief support services possible.”
