Singers wanted for Command Performance

Singers are invited to join Command Performance Choir for a second Edwardian “Downton Christmas” concert to be held in Picton on December 22 and 23. All vocalists welcome and the ability to read music helpful but not a requirement.
Command Performance is Prince Edward County’s community choir, founded in 1988. The choir was formed by a small group of local singers who had come together with various artists and groups from as far away as Kingston to perform in the Quinte Summer Music Festival. To date there are just over 30 members from all over the County as well as from Trenton and Belleville.
The choir is committed to provide a variety of music for a Christmas and a Spring show.
Join them Monday, Sept. 19, 7:30-9:30pm, in the Bloomfield United Church. Call Moira, 613-968-5049 or Greg, 613-476-4148 for more information.
Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings at Bloomfield United Church (7:30 to 9:30 p.m.) and new members are always welcome in September and January when the choir begins rehearsing for the shows.
