Sonrise Christian Academy students are going under cover to spread Christmas cheer to the needy this year in their annual musical production.
Students from Junior Kindergarten right up to Grade 8 will be performing together in a fun-filled family Christmas musical. “We Three Spies” takes place at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Bloomfield Tuesday, Dec. 17th at 1:30 pm and Wednesday, Dec. 18th at 7 pm.
The musical will demonstrate how the children go under cover to spread Christmas cheer to the needy. Sonrise staff and students are hoping to make this message a reality by encouraging people coming to the performances to bring a food or gift item with them in support of the local and global community.
The school’s Student Leadership Team has selected three projects to support. They will be collecting school supplies (please, no crayons) to support children in an orphanage in Liberia, toys for the Salvation Army Christmas Hamper program, and non-perishable food items for the County Food Bank.
