Square Foot Art Show + Sale

The South Shore Joint Initiative (SSJI) invites the public to its first-ever Square Foot Art Show + Sale, taking place at Arts on Main Gallery on Main Street in Picton from Jan. 23 to Feb. 18.

The Backroom Gallery will feature a diverse collection of square-foot artworks by artists and photographers inspired by SSJI’s work to protect and preserve Prince Edward County’s rare and fragile South Shore.

This fundraiser blends art and conservation, showcasing the creativity of the community while supporting environmental advocacy, education, and outreach.

“Spanning 26 km, the South Shore Key Biodiversity Area is Canada’s largest and last undeveloped Lake
Ontario natural landscape and shoreline. We are deeply grateful to the artists, donors and volunteers who recognize and actively support our work to protect this special place,” said Cheryl Anderson, president, South Shore Joint Initiative.
