Storehouse Foodbank seeks food, cleaning items and toiletry items

The Storehouse Foodbank in Wellington welcomes donations of food, cleaning or toiletry items (no clothing or household items until further notice).

“We can’t thank you enough for thinking of others at this difficult time,” said Downey. “We would appreciate all the help we can get as we are having trouble finding supplies in the stores.”

Staff are in the foodbank on Monday mornings from 9-11 and Wednesdays from 9-3 if you would like to drop off donations.

Please come to the side door! If you can’t make these hours, call Linda Downey at 613-849-7403 to make other arrangements.

For clients, the Foodbank is open this Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. as usual. Staff plans to bring groceries to clients’ vehicle after they sign in at the door. They will also be delivering to regular shut-in clients.

The Foodbank’s annual ‘Cram the Cruiser’ campaign in April has been cancelled.
