Summer fun continues at County’s libraries

The Prince Edward County Libraries continues its summer fun programs!

Following a week in the Maritimes, next stop is Quebec!

The library will be joining the Quebecois in a celebration called Carnaval. Ice castles and gigantic snowmen! Winter fun in the middle of summer! Join us on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday to experience a taste of Carnaval.

On Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, we’ll be exploring our home province – Ontario! Our national animal, beavers, are resourceful creatures, just like many Canadians. In this week’s program, we’ll learn about beavers and the homes they create for themselves on the water: beaver dams! This week’s program will be held outside.

The Picton branch is hosting a Kids’ Cafe drop-in at the outdoor play space.

Drop by any branch of the library to pick up a Summer Reading Club brochure to see all the events listed for the summer.
