There were 11 Quinte Dolphin swimmers competing in the Kingston Season Finale swim meet Sunday, May 30th, posting many top 10 finishes and numerous personal best times. Dane Blanchard has qualified to compete in the Eastern Ontario Divisional Championship in Nepean June 4-6.
The Quinte Dolphins annual fundraiser is the Swim Around the County.  This is a swim-a-thon that runs from June 12/10-June 13/10 a noon to noon event.  The idea is that there will be at least one team member in the pool swimming laps for an entire 24 hour period.  When the event is over the team hopes to have swam the distance of the circumference of the shoreline of  Prince Edward County, a distance of 185km!
The Quinte Dolphins Swim Team has grown to 22 registered swimmers with  senior coach, Jim Anfield and junior coach, Scott Blanchard, working with the swimmers at the Prince Edward Fitness and Aquatic Centre, to improve their skills and fitness, while having a lot of fun! The club offers both pre-competitive and competitive swim programs designed to accommodate a variety of abilities.
