Whistlestop Productions threw a party last month to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its TSN series, “Motorcycle Experience”, produced here in Prince Edward County. Co-owner and show host, Dave Hatch, was joined by show fans, representatives of Honda Canada and a TSN camera crew at a local winery for an afternoon of motorcycle demo rides, displays, seminars and wine tasting.
Hatch offered a special auction of motorcycle jackets dating back the entire 25 years of his tenure with the show. Funds raised from the auction were donated to Hospice Prince Edward. Nancy Parks, executive director, accepted the cheque, on behalf of Hospice.
“We are truly grateful to Whistlestop Productions, and in particular, company founders Dave and Stacey Hatch, for their continued and unwavering commitment to Hospice Prince Edward,” she said. “It is only through the generosity of businesses and individuals such as these that we are able to do what we do – support the journey of living with dying”.
Hospice Prince Edward is a non-profit, non-denominational organization whose mandate is to provide palliative and bereavement support to families and individuals of all ages in Prince Edward County. For more information, visit www.hospiceprinceedward.ca.
