Watermain break in Wellington

Emergency repairs are under way on Maple Street in Wellington Tuesday, Dec. 29 due to a water main break.
Repairs began at about 11am, with an expected completion time of 8p.m.
Lane closures on Maple Street between Oak Street and Niles Street and Niles
Street between Lake Breeze Crescent and Westwind Crescent will be in place for the duration of the repair. Motorists are asked to avoid the construction area if possible.
The repairs are not expected to affect water quality; however residents living in the area may experience a partial or complete loss of pressure and coloured water. To address, customers are to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once regular service is restored.
