Winter Wonderland Walk helps raise funds for South Shore appeals

Final oral presentations in the Ostrander Point Environmental Review Tribunal are to be heard at 10am Friday, Jan. 15 at the Human Rights Tribunal Ontario (HRTO) Hearing Rooms on Bay Street in Toronto.

On Jan. 20 and 21 the final oral presentations in the wpd White Pines ERT Appeal are to be heard at the ESSROC Centre in Wellington starting at 10 am on Wednesday, Jan. 20.

Saturday, Jan. 16 supporters of the South Shore are gathering for a Winter Wonderland Walk fun event to raise some money for the legal costs of the ERT appeals of the industrial wind turbine projects.

The walk starts at the corner of Hilltop Rd and Dainard Rd at 2 pm and proceeds to the Long Dog Winery for refreshments. Drummer Gavin North will perform durng the walk.

    Indeed. We must be aware of the need to protect this endangered species in all seasons. Our wildlife freedom areas are all under attack.

    Take a side trip down Duetta Road and check out the Lake. It is well worth the extra kilometer and a half. Great bird viewing.
