Your favourite bird photograph may be a winner

During May, as part of the Spring Birding Festival, the Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory is sponsoring a Bird Photography Contest.
The rules:
1. Subject: A bird photo of a local or migratory bird taken within the last 24 months in Prince Edward County.
2. Format: 5×7, black and white or colour print, unframed. Put name, address, phone, plus when and where the photo was taken on the back of the photo. Limit of two photos per person.
3. Submission: Drop off at AV Frame and Studio, 279 Main St., Picton until noon, Saturday, May 26. Winning photos will be posted on www.peptbo.ca
4. Judging: Members and guests at the Peptbo annual general meeting Saturday, May 26 will judge the photos. Prizes include Bridget Stutchbury’s The Bird Detective, a Droll Yankee Bird Feeder complte with seed, and a Bluebird nesting box.
Staff and members of the Peptbo board of directors are not eligible.
