Worker seriously injured in industrial accident

A man who had fallen from a scaffold at a construction project on County Road 8 in Picton is in Kingston hospital with life-threatening injuries.

On Thursday, June 20 around 7 a.m., officers with the Prince Edward Detactment OPP were notified by Picton Fire of the accident.

A 56 year old male from Tyendinaga Twp. suffered serious life threatening injuries and rushed to Kingston Hospital where he underwent surgery.

Police are continuing with their investigation and are asking that anyone with information on this incident to contact the OPP Provincial Communications Centre at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222- 8477(TIPS).
