14-year-old charged for mischief related to pellet gun investigation

Prince Edward OPP have laid charges in connection to ongoing BB and pellet gun mischief investigations in Picton and Wellington areas that caused damage to individual and commercial properties dating back to the end of 2021.
PEC OPP Constable Aaron Miller reports a 14-year-old from Prince Edward County was charged on March 15 with eight counts of mischief – destroys or damages property.
The identity of the accused is withheld in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The accused was released on a youth undertaking and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
