14-year-old charged with sexual assault, possession of child pornography

A 14-year-old Picton resident will face charges of two counts of sexual assault and possession of child pornography.
On Wednesday, Feb. 5 at approximately 7:30 a.m. members of the Prince Edward County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Picton.
Police seized several electronic devices and charged the 14-year-old. The accused was released and is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton at a later date.
