Picton Kiwanis presented two County students with certificates and cheques honouring their scholastic achievement. Natasha Davenport received the Communication Award and will be continuing her studies at Niagara College in Broadcasting and Communication. Danielle Levitt received the Chris Lockyer Award and will continue her education at Seneca College in Fashion Arts. Making the presentations were assistant secretary Bill Miramontes and president John Langschmidt. “The Kiwanis are proud to continue their support of the talented youth of the County with these annual awards,” said Langschmidt.
Kiwanis members and friends were out in force last week helping thousands of visitors to the WI’s annual craft sale with directions and helping many to find a parking spot.
