Lesley Cronk, of Wellington, and Skippy Do Dah, her 23-year-old quarter horse, won a first place ribbon and $50 in the Western Pleasure Senior Category (senior for anybody over age 19).
Members of the Prince Edward Horse and Pony Club exhibited their skills in showmanship, English, Western, Pleasure and Games classes at their first event of the season.
There are four shows this year. The next is set for June 8, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Picton Fairgrounds.
