It has now been five years since Jonathan Fowler went missing. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigators are confident someone has a crucial piece of information that will resolve the case.
Today, the OPP stated a $50,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of those responsible for his disappearance.
The OPP states Jonathan also goes by Jon Fowler, Joshua Mac Donald, “Johnny Boy” or sometimes a combination of those names. He also uses the name Daniel, or the last name Shewan.
Jonathan, who would now be 38 years old, was last seen in July 2019 in Picton. In addition to Picton, he was known to spend time in Napanee, Kingston and Denbigh.
The Missing Adults website notes his family is concerned for his well-being as there has not been any banking, phone or social media activity since his disappearance. As well, it is noted he was involved in a risky lifestyle at the time.
He’s described as:
6’2″ (188 cm)
Slim/average build
Brown hair – short in either a buzz cut or shaved head
Sometimes had a mustache
Hazel eyes, light/fair complexion
Multiple tattoos on arms, wrist and chest
The OPP Criminal Investigation Branch is now overseeing the investigation by the Prince Edward County OPP Crime Unit, as foul play cannot be ruled out in Jonathan’s disappearance.
