Students from Prince Edward Collegiate Institute witnessed the sombre side of risk-taking Wednesday, May 28 at Picton hospital. The Quinte Health Care P.A.R.T.Y. program (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth) is tailored to teens aged 15-17 to educate them about tragic consequences of personal decisions. The day includes an extraction exercise led by the County’s police, fire and paramedics as well as a tour of the hospital’s trauma room, morgue and physiotherapy.
PECMH CHEERS! Metro store manager Michelle Hall for donating 14 pizzas for lunch, to the students from PECI participating in the full day program at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital.
