Accidents close Highway 401 lanes

UPDATE: One lane of traffic is now open and traffic is moving slowly in the area. There were no injuries reported to the OPP.
On Tuesday November 12, 2019, at 8:40 a.m. officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a tractor trailer fire on the East Bound 401, 1.5 kilometres east of St. Hilaire Road.
Both east bound lanes are closed at this time between Glen Miller Road and Wallbridge Loyalist Road. Traffic is being detoured along the emergency detour routes.
Police were also at the scene of a collision closing Highway 401 eastbound at Hwy 49 in Marysville this morning.
Motorists were advised to exit at Shannonville Road.
