Advance polls to open; candidates set for debates

With the provincial election campaign in its final two weeks, voter cards are in the mail, advance polls are opening and Bay of Quinte riding candidates are presenting positions at a number of all-candidates’ meetings.
For those who have already made their decision, advanced polling begins Saturday at the Ameliasburgh Town Hall, 13 Coleman St., the Masonic Hall in Picton, 13251 Loyalist Pkwy and the Wellington and District Community Centre, 111 Belleville St. All three are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 26-May 30.
Coming all candidates’ meetings include:
Thursday, May 24 they will be at the Empire Theatre in Belleville from 6-7 p.m.
Tuesday, May 29 from 6-9 p.m. at Trenton High School
Wednesday, May 30 from 7-9 at the Regent Theatre, Picton.
Announced today is a session Thursday, May 31 from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. at the Eastminister United Church in Belleville for a special session dedicated to poverty and health issues.
