Agricultural committee plants request for road signs
Administrator | Oct 27, 2020 | Comments 1
The municipality’s Agricultural Advisory Committee is planting a request with council for $5,000 in next year’s budget for road signs.
It seeks six four-by-eight foot signs that identify the County as an agricultural community and encourage patience and caution on its roads.
The committee would like the signs installed before next spring’s movement of farm equipment. It recommends placement at key entrances to the County – the four bridge routes, the Glenora Ferry and at the Sandbanks Provincial Park entrance.
Council meets tonight at 7 p.m.
