Ahhh… rain

Rumbles of thunder and long-awaited rain were welcome sounds and sights this morning as Prince Edward County finally gets a break from high heat and drought. The unusually warm summer and the dry conditions have caused a lengthy burning ban, risked crops and increased demand on hydro. Rain is expected to continue today and overnight with a chance of thunderstorms Friday afternoon and scattered showers Saturday.
