Throughout August and early September, the Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Centre will be conducting training in the vicinity of Point Petre.
This training will involve marine exercises, including the use of small boats and swimming along the shoreline.
“Boaters in the area are asked to keep well back from the training in order to ensure the safety of those soldiers in the water and to respect the directions of safety staff accompanying the exercises,” said Captain Trevor Reid, 8 Wing Trenton Public Affairs. “The Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Centre thanks members of the public and boaters for their assistance and co-operation.”
