Autumn advisory for patchy frost

Kite surfers along Lakeshore Beach were propelled in brilliant sunshine amid whirling water and swirling breezes this weekend.
Autumn weather may kick up a notch over night tonight as Environment Canada advises people to cover up frost-sensitive plants and trees. Its forecast is for patchy frost early Tuesday morning that may be damaging in frost-prone areas.
Temperatures are expected to fall to near zero degrees Celsius overnight Monday. Tuesday is expected to warm to about 9 degrees C with a chance of showers.
Long-range, Thursday through Sunday are expected to be clear and sunny with highs of 15-17 degrees C.
