Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation treasurer Leo Finnegan, and executive director Anna Marie Ferguson were delighted to receive a $50,000 donation from the PEC hospital auxiliary, presented by president Fran Donaldson. The funds support the launch of a $750,000 campaign for a new ultrasound and digital mammography equipment. The auxiliary pledges to present another $100,000 by year end and hopes to forward an additional $100,000 in 2012. Complete story on the campaign here: http://www.countylive.ca/?p=18879
And more support to the foundation:
Susan Harrington from the Prince Edward County Agricultural Society presented a cheque for $910 to Anna Marie Ferguson of the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation. The money was raised at the Bake-Off Challenge held at this year’s Picton Fair. The Agricultural Society and the Foundation thank the EMS paramedics and the Prince Edward OPP for their participation and entries. Also to be thanked are the judges, Don Stanton, past president of the PECMH Foundation, Don King, co-owner of Portabella Restaurant and Foundation Director Monica Alyea. Special thanks goes to Auctioneer Creighton Carr as well as those who bid on a cake or pie.
