A delightful basket of Donini chocolate, donated as a random act of kindness by ‘somebunny’ wonderful to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation, has been delivered.
The gift basket, valued at $100, was donated anonymously. The donor had won the prize and was unable to enjoy the goodies included, so, decided to pay it forward to the foundation to offer to staff as a morale booster.
Staff were invited to put their name into a free draw for the basket filled with chocolate, an array of nuts and a lovely bottle of wine, just in time for the Easter Bunny’s appearance this weekend!
Foundation Chair Leo Finnegan pulled the lucky name from the collection of entries on Wednesday and Carolyn Miller, a registered nurse who works on the inpatient unit in Picton, hops away with the delicious goods.

Carolyn has for many years been a constant in the excellent care that she has given to her patients.
How fortunate we are to have Carolyn and her fellow co workers at our local hospital.
A very caring and kind nurse who deserves a present from Peter Cottontail.
