Insurance brokers and staff at Bay of Quinte Mutual Insurance Company in Picton are ensuring state-of-the-art tools are at the hands of local doctors, nurses and technologists with a donation of $5,000. The funds, which are designated toward the purchase of medical equipment for the County’s hospital, were received by the Foundation office Monday morning.
“We thank Bay of Quinte Mutual Insurance Company for their generous gift that will play a big role in providing better health care services to residents and visitors of Prince Edward County,” said Executive Director Penny Rolinski. “We improve care for our patients by purchasing new and replacement equipment, there is never a shortage of possibilities for donations like this one,” she said. “Ultimately, this money will help the Foundation reach our fundraising targets sooner, which in turn keeps up-to-date equipment, like scopes, in our County hospital and for that we’re extremely grateful.”
With this donation, Bay of Quinte Mutual Insurance Company will move from the Sponsor level of the donor recognition wall into the Patron level for cumulative gifts totaling over $10,000.
