Where’s the beef? In Wellington. The public is invited to ‘Putt-Off’ between 1 – 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 26 as part of a Fundraising Golf Tournament at Wellington on the Lake Golf Course. Here’s how it works – Baitley’s Farm has generously donated prizes of four quarters of Ontario corn fed beef. Two quarters will be won by participating golfers, and two quarters could be won by the public! Here’s what you do – For a donation of $100, you will have an opportunity to ‘Putt-Off’ for a quarter beef. The second quarter will be chosen from a draw. All proceeds will go toward the Wellington Community Centre. A donation of $100 is equal to purchasing a brick for the Wellington Community Centre. Here is your opportunity to contribute to a great cause AND walk away a winner!
DID YOU KNOW? – John Baitley’s father, Don Baitley, donated beef in 1976 when the Midgets went to Switzerland. The farm has been in the Baitley family since 1914.
