Bernice wins stained glass panel

Bernice Campbell is winner of the large stained glass panel that hung at the Seniors Thrift Shop, valued at $800. Prince Edward Learning Centre’s participants in the program “ArtWorks: The Art of Success in the Workplace” selected Prince Edward Community Care for Seniors as the charity to receive the proceeds from the raffle and the sale of hand crafted jewellery. A total of $2,420 was donated to Community Care to help seniors live at home.

Programs include help with income tax and other forms, walking program, monthly dinners, transportation to medical appointments, security checks, home maintenance, foot-care clinics and Meals on Wheels. These services are provided with the assistance of more than 450 volunteers.
