Better undead, than unread at Picton Library Zombie Walk

Prince Edward County zombies who believe they’re better undead, than unread shuffled their way out of the Picton Library for the annual Zombie Walk and fun activities Tuesday night.

A Zombie Walk involves people dressing as zombies, or ‘undead” for a parade, but the public library added to the fun.

“The downstairs of the library was transformed into Zombie Central where people gathered to makeup help from experienced zombie make up artists, searched through clothing and costumes to wear, mixed up some fake blood, and soaked up the atmosphere,” says Christine Renaud, branch manager and chief zombie organizer. When everybody had their Zombie on, they paraded along Main Street to the Tim Hortons and back.

“It’s all in good fun and a great way to get into the Halloween spirit, with lots of fake blood and gruesomeness.”
