Better undead, than unread

More undead than ever shambled down Picton’s Main Street for the third annual Zombie Walk and fun Tuesday night.
A Zombie Walk involves people dressing as zombies, or ‘undead” for a parade, but the public library added to the fun. The downstairs of the library was transformed into Zombie Central where people gathered to makeup help from experienced zombie make up artists, searched through clothing and costumes to wear, mixed up some fake blood, and soaked up the atmosphere.
Christine Renaud, branch manager and chief zombie organizer then sent the zombies on parade to the Tim Hortons and back in time to watch The Conjuring movie at The Regent Theatre.
“It’s all in good fun and a great way to get into the Halloween spirit, with lots of fake blood and gruesomeness,” said Renaud.
