Blowing, drifting snow causing havoc again

FRIDAY: Blowing snow and drifts are creating reduced visibility and dangerous driving conditions on Prince Edward County roads today. Reports are also coming in on extreme poor conditions on Hwy 401 from Kingston to Belleville and near whiteout conditions from Trenton to Cobourg as well.
Due to blowing snow and stuck vehicles, Hiscock Shores Road has been closed to all traffic until further notice. The road may remain closed until Saturday morning.
Plows are out in force to cover the County’s more than 1,100 km of roads. Using a patrol system, the County reviews all roads and calls in equipment as necessary to deal with snow fall, drifting snow, ice, etc. Main roads are completed first to ensure access by emergency vehicles.

does anyone have info on when the white out conditions on the 401 will subside??
April would be my guess, but the way this year is going, possibly May. 🙂
Guess what? It’s snowing again today, so I’m going to do something that I haven’t done for the past 7 straight days and nights. I will act completely out of character and… wait for it… I’m going to plow my lanes in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION !!! Grrrrrrrrrrr………..
Global warming.
