The Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation received $902 from organizers of the 5th annual Quinte Bluegrass Celebration at Quinte Isle Camp Park in May. The money was raised through a silent auction for the benefit of Picton hospital.
“The Foundation is very grateful for the generosity shown by the Prince Edward County community,” said Leo Finnegan, president of the foundation. “Every donation, no matter how much, makes a difference in the care that you and your family value and deserve. We very much appreciate all support. We are especially grateful for these types of community events as they go a long way in helping us acquire a specific piece of equipment for Picton hospital. These type of events not only engage County residents, but visitors to our community too.”
