Bobbi-Jo Robbins earns bursary

Picton’s Bobbi-Jo Robbins, a first-year student in the Child and Youth Worker program, earned the Rotary Club of Picton Bursary at Loyalist College. She received the award from John McMahon, the VP of Academic. Sixty-five students received awards worth a total value of $50,925 earlier this month.
“This awards reception is a great occasion to celebrate the achievements and talents of our student recipients and the wonderful generosity of our award donors and sponsors,” said Maureen Piercy, President of Loyalist College. “Financial assistance can make a positive difference for our students, helping to set them up for success now and in the future as graduates who contribute to their community.”
