Businesses warned of company claiming advertising affiliation with Sobeys

The Picton Business Improvement Area has alerted members to watch for a company falsely claiming to be affiliated with the Picton Sobeys.
The BIA notice states the company has been approaching businesses in the Picton area to purchase advertising space on magnets to be sold at the Sobey’s tills.
The BIA reports the representaives are stating they are visiting at the suggestion of Sobey’s owner Jamie Yeo, but notes the two companies have no affiliation.
