Matthews rings in third place at all-Canadian horseshoe championships

CHEERS! to Mary Lessard – Matthews from Bloomfield who travelled to St. Stephen, New Brunswick to participate in the All-Canadian Horseshoe Championships. She played in the Ladies B division and won third place. There were more than 200 entries from eight provinces. The competition was launched by 90-year-old Earle Fraser, tossing the ceremonial shoes.
