County resident David Hepburn, on behalf of his ‘Many Happy Returns’ initiative began his Christmas giving with three donations to local charities.
David and family travelled to the Picton Salvation Army to present Lieutenant Joe Ludlow with a contribution to the Kettle campaign.
David’s second stop on his Christmas giving road trip was to visit Chief Angel Susan Rose and the Angel Tree campaign.
David’s third stop was at the Picton Hospital where Fran Renoy, one of the hospital’s most ardent supporters, and Nikita, received the donation for the Back the Build Campaign.
David’s gifts to the community are possible because of generous donations from the community of returnable bottles and cans. Each donation represents 1000 cans!
Earlier this season, David presented Larry Richardson with cash and groceries for the OPP Cram the Cruiser campaign.
The funds raised through bottle returns are donated throughout the year to many projects in Prince Edward County. Many Happy Returns has donated more than $5,000 over the past three years.
If you are hosting a party, or have refundable bottles needing to be returned, David and his family are available for pickups by contacting hep.david@gmail.com or by calling 613-968-0181.
