Clippers U14 basketball B Champs at Hamilton tourney

The County Clippers U14 Major Bantam Girls won the B Championship this past weekend at the Blessed Sacrament basketball tournament in Hamilton.
Coaches Kelsey McKibbon and Veronica Miller noted pride in the girls’ hard work and improvement over the weekend.
The team will wrap up their season this weekend with a tournament in Cobourg.
Game wrap-ups:
Game 1 on Friday evening was against the Kingsville Class. The Class won 43-30. They ended up in 2nd place for the tournament.
Game 2 on Saturday morning was against York North Basketball Association. The YNBA won 31-12.
Game 3 on Saturday afternoon was against Barrie Royals Major Bantam. Barrie won 25-13 and were the eventual champions.
Game 4 on Sunday morning was against the Collingwood Blazers. The Clippers won 31-14!
Game 5 was the B Championship game. The Clippers beat the Collingwood Blazers 34-23 to finish the tournament as the B Champs.
